Improv 201
This course is open to anyone who has completed Improv 101. It’s a 10-week program that runs for 1.5 hours. This is the next step for those who want to perform on stage.

22 January – 8 April
(no workshop on 29 January Auckland Anniversary Day & 1 April Easter Monday)
22 April – 1 July
(no workshop on 3 June King’s Birthday)
15 July – 16 September
30 September – 9 Dec
(no workshop on 28 October Labour Day)
Pre-requisite: completed Improv 101
Once paid there are no refunds unless the class has been cancelled.
It’s a 10-week program on Monday nights 8.15pm – 9.45pm. The classes are 90-minutes long. The course covers short form basics and gets you ready to perform on stage.
Pre-requisite: Improv 101 (attended a minimum of 8 of the 10 classes).
Why do Improv 201?
There are a few reasons why, here are just some of them:
1. You want to continue learning the skills that the art of improvisation teaches.
2. You want to challenge yourself - at the end of the course you perform in the Rookie Improv Night show on stage at the Covert Theatre.
3. You want to join the Covert Theatre and do workshops, have performance opportunities and become a part of a supportive community.

You can stop with the show or if you’re keen to carry on learning and performing, you can apply for Improv 301.
